Accrevent uses cookies and similar technologies for authentication, security and interface preferences.
Article 4(5)–(6) of Romanian Law No. 506/2004 requires information and consent for storing or accessing information on a device, except for operations strictly necessary for transmission or to provide a service expressly requested by the user. Each technology must be assessed in its actual configuration.
We do not use marketing or analytics cookies.
1. Necessary cookies and security technology
Accrevent and its technical providers use the following:
- Supabase Auth session cookies with names beginning “sb-” maintain authentication across requests and refresh sessions. These are first-party cookies and end at sign-out or session expiry.
- “acv_step_up” is set only after an organizer re-enters their password for exports and audit access. It is signed, tied to the account, unavailable to page scripts and expires after ten minutes or at sign-out.
- Cloudflare Turnstile loads on account creation, sign-in, recruitment and staff signup forms to prevent spam. Its actual device storage or access and duration must be confirmed from the deployed configuration.
2. Browser local storage
The following interface preferences are stored in the browser, not in cookies. Saving a preference does not separately send its value to the server:
- “accrevent-theme”: light or dark theme.
- “accrevent-lang”: Romanian or English interface language.
- “accrevent-sidebar-collapsed”: whether the sidebar is expanded.
- “accrevent-event-team-colors”: whether lists display team colors.
- “accrevent-splash-shown”, in session storage: whether the splash screen has already appeared; it disappears when the tab closes.
3. Offline application storage
Accrevent can be installed as a desktop application. Its service worker stores files needed to start the interface: the offline page, fonts, icons, images and interface code.
The service worker is not intended to cache staff lists, credentials, applications or account settings. Other browser features, such as history and general cache, are managed through browser settings.
4. Analytics and marketing
We do not use marketing tracking or analytics.
If analytics are added later, we will update this policy and request consent before enabling them where required.
5. Your controls
You can delete cookies, local data and offline storage through your browser settings. Authentication will not work if you block necessary cookies completely.
Clearing local storage resets theme, language and sidebar state to their defaults. Account data is not deleted.
