Hi, I’m Emy. My core passion has always been programming and technical execution. Ever since high school, building robotics projects and competing internationally in Tunisia, I’ve been obsessed with how complex systems are engineered. In 2021, I stepped into the live events industry, starting from the ground up as a volunteer.
Over time, I grew into coordinating teams as a Volunteer Supervisor across dozens of events, and actively got involved in event production. I balanced this field work with my university studies — where I actually design systems as well, just in the medical engineering field. But my true defining moment on the ground was a 52-day marathon. Every single day, I managed crews, heavy attendee flows, and wristband logistics for multiple festivals running simultaneously. It was an intense run that proved to me we desperately needed a system to make life easier for organizers.
Live events completely changed my vision of software development. When we started building Accrevent, I knew exactly the kind of operational stress the platform would have to endure. I combined my passion for technology with raw field experience to build a rock-solid architecture. My mission is for the backend to run flawlessly, easing the manual workload so crews can focus on creating better productions. You build the show; we handle the people.
And ultimately, just as Robert said, no matter how powerful the software is, in this industry one truth remains: people make it happen.
