Attendance & time logs

Attendance and hours worked for each shift, including records kept offline until the device reconnects.

How it works

The field crew scans the person’s QR code at the start and end of a shift. The platform records the times and shows late arrivals and absences by shift. In the field app, offline attendance records stay on the device and are sent when the connection returns.

What it does

Shift start and finish

Recording the start allows the shift to be closed at the end. The two times are used to calculate hours worked for that shift.

An offline queue on the device

In the field app, records made without a connection stay on the device until they sync. Badge collection at the desk uses the separate LocalSync workflow.

Lateness compared with the schedule

The recorded start time is compared with the scheduled start. The coordinator can review the delay and shift status in the attendance records.

Decisions with a recorded reason

The organiser can approve or reject a shift result with a written reason. The decision keeps a record of who made it and when.

Offline attendance records stay on the device and are sent after reconnection. Scanning marks the start or end of a shift.
