Flag lists

A person’s flags carry across all of the organiser’s events and are not shared with other organisers.

How it works

The organiser and coordinators add people to a blacklist or whitelist using an email address or phone number. The platform checks the organiser’s lists and shows flags during application review, in teams and at the desk, within the data each role can view. The lists apply across all that organiser’s events.

What it does

Matched by email or phone

A flag is linked to an email address or phone number. Matching does not depend on how the person’s name is spelt.

Flags without the full list

Coordinators see flags for approved staff in their assigned teams, and the desk for non-confidential credentials. The alert can also show how many events have blacklist flags, without exposing the full list.

Withdrawal with a history

An incorrect flag can be withdrawn. It stays in the history with the time of withdrawal and the reason, if one was provided.

The organiser’s own lists

Flags apply across all events of the organiser who owns the lists. They are not passed to other organisers.

Lists belong to the organiser and apply across all their events.
